In short: We use Google Analytics for anonymous site usage. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email (double opt-in) in AWS S3 (eu-west-1) and send mail via Amazon SES. You can unsubscribe anytime.
1. Information we collect
We collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics, including page views, device type, approximate location, traffic source, and session duration.
Our hosting provider (Amazon CloudFront) also records server access logs for security and operations: pages requested, timestamp, browser User-Agent, and client IP address. These logs are stored in AWS CloudWatch for a limited retention period and are not shared with third parties for advertising.
If you subscribe to the Intelligence Brief newsletter, we also collect:
- Email address: provided by you, confirmed via double opt-in
- Subscription metadata: confirmation / unsubscribe timestamps; optional bounce or complaint suppression flags so we do not email invalid addresses
2. Cookies we use
We use cookies for analytics purposes only:
- Google Analytics cookies: track your visit anonymously (e.g. _ga, _gid)
- Duration: up to 2 years
- Purpose: understand how visitors use our site to improve content
3. How we use your information
We use anonymous analytics data to:
- Understand which content is most valuable to visitors
- Improve website performance and user experience
- Identify popular articles and prediction features
- Measure traffic growth and engagement
We use newsletter emails to:

- Amazon Web Services (AWS): newsletter subscriber storage (S3, eu-west-1) and email delivery (SES); website hosting and server access logs (CloudFront, CloudWatch)
We do not:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share personal information with advertisers
- Use Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar third-party ESPs
- Track you across other websites beyond Google Analytics
- Store passwords or payment information (we don't have user accounts yet)
5. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Opt out of analytics: install browser extensions like Google Analytics Opt-out
- Block cookies: adjust your browser settings to block cookies

- Unsubscribe: use the link in any newsletter, or visit tennispredictor.net/newsletter/unsubscribe/
- Access your data: you may request what newsletter data we hold for your email address
6. Children's privacy
Our website is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We take data security seriously:
